Open from December 1, 2025, to April 4, 2026, depending on snow conditions.
Special opening days:
December 31, 2025: open from 10:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. (terrace business)
– Hot meals from 12:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m.
Afterwards, preparations and decorations will be made for the gala dinner.
January 24, 2026 Grand Lighthouse Festival: On this day, the Bellevue Alm will be open exclusively to festival guests (admission only with a valid ticket).
On all other days, we are open as usual – subject to private events.
Opening hours:
10:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to midnight
(Please note: Last ascent at 11:30 p.m. for guests from the valley.)
Hot meals:
12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
Special features in winter
Monday and Thursday is fondue night:
On this evening, we serve various fondue variations and a small selection from our à la carte menu. 10% discount on food.
Live music:
From December 21, 2025, to March 30, 2026, atmospheric live music with different artists awaits you every Sunday, Monday, and Thursday.
Après-ski:
From December 25, 2025, to March 14, 2026 (except December 31) – Après-ski with DJs from Belgium, Germany, and Gastein.
On the terrace in good weather, under the canopy in bad weather.

We are also happy to organize your celebration outside our regular opening hours – whether it's a birthday, anniversary, or corporate event.
The Bellevue Alm is one of the most legendary and historic alpine huts in Austria. It is located on a sunny 1265 m high above Bad Gastein, directly on the valley run of the Stubnerkogel.
In the quaint and popular restaurant Bellevuealm with incomparable flair and large, open fireplace, traditional delicacies from the Austrian kitchen, fondue and many other delicacies are served.
At the end of a long day's skiing or for a break in between, we recommend a stop in the heated outdoor bar with lots of fun, atmosphere and cool drinks. Look forward to hearty après ski or hut fun!
In winter you can reach us from the valley with our own lift - back to the valley you can also go back by tobogganing on the floodlit toboggan run! Sled rental directly at the Bellevue Alm mountain station. In summer you can reach us on a private forest road, by car or by foot in about 40 minutes from the valley. On request, we also offer a free shuttle service for our alpine guests in the summer.
